Search For The Needle updates

Index + Pets has a September 12–19 event window, PETS has a reported Gem and class-luck reward, and the next listed event is UPDATE 3 on September 19. The current chapter routes remain Farmhouse and Basement.

Sources read September 13, 2026. Official listings establish titles and schedules; linked guides supply the gameplay steps. Event windows are not our own launch tests.

Index + Pets now; UPDATE 3 is scheduled next

The official Roblox event list identifies both events below as hosted by Garage Games for this experience. Times are shown to the minute.

Official eventListed window, 2026Impact and next step
Index + PetsSeptember 12, 15:00 → September 19, 15:00 UTCThe promotion window has started as of September 13. Returning players can follow the reported Index inspection/equip sequence and try PETS.
UPDATE 3September 19, 15:00 → September 26, 15:00 UTCThis is the next listed promotion window; its start is still in the future. Follow the official event for details. Until then, finish Basement or use your Alien Coins.

Both event descriptions are empty in the September 13 record. The schedule supplies no pet purchase steps, patch contents or map removal date. Although the API labels both records active, UPDATE 3's start is September 19; that label does not mean the future update is already playable.

The official experience record read September 13 uses the title [🐶] Search For The Needle and was updated that day. The title helps identify the current pet theme; it does not describe individual pet bonuses. Open the correct Garage Games experience.

Get Dog at the lobby Pets shop for 1,000 Diamonds

Save 1,000 Diamonds for Dog. Prince More 2.0's gameplay reports buying it with that balance at 5:13–5:27 and obtaining it immediately afterward. The visible companion is labelled Dog; the creator's spoken nickname is not another pet species.

  1. Return to the lobby's red barn.Find the large Pets sign between the UPDATE 3 board on the left and the Pet Cosmetics stall on the right.
  2. Approach the cow and doghouse beneath Pets.Use the View Shop prompt shown in BardakVgolovi2's gameplay preview.
  3. Choose Dog and buy it with 1,000 Diamonds. The creator calls the blue-gem currency Diamonds. Check that your displayed price and balance cover the purchase; this is a sourced price, not a claim that every pet costs the same.
  4. Check that you own Dog.The purchase narration reports success, and the gameplay preview shows a Dog-labelled companion next to the avatar. Use the owned-pet guidance below to inspect or change your setup before a map run.

Use Index to inspect and equip an owned pet

The September 10 pet preview describes companion pets for Farmhouse and Basement and the sequence below. It was written before the event window, so use these as attributed preview instructions when the Index interface is available in your session; this guide has not tested the current game UI.

  1. Return to the lobby or spawn area and open Index. The preview places access there. It does not provide an exact button label or screen position.
  2. Inspect pets you already own.Read the selected pet's rarity and stats in Index. Use those displayed values to choose for the next run.
  3. Select and equip one owned pet.The preview describes one active pet at a time. Treat that as the preview's reported setup, rather than a tested current slot limit.
  4. Switch before entering Farmhouse or Basement.Choose the pet for your intended activity while still in the lobby, then enter the map. For the map actions, use the Farmhouse start or Basement entry guide.

Which stat should you compare?

The same preview reports collection-speed, movement/jump, search-assistance and sale-reward bonuses. It supplies no named pet with an exact bonus amount. If your Index lists one of those effects, match it to your immediate need: collection for slow gathering, movement for travel, search assistance for finding objects, or sale rewards for earnings. Read the actual pet's stats before choosing; these reported categories are not a pet roster or a ranked tier list.

Does completing Index give another reward?

The September 10 preview describes Index as a place to view owned pets, compare stats and equip or switch a pet. Neither that preview nor the official event listing documents a separate Index-completion reward, collection threshold or Claim button. Those sources do not establish that such a reward exists, and they do not prove that it cannot be added or appear in your session.

The PETS code is a separate reward action: its published reward is Gems and class luck, not a pet or an Index completion prize. For a first pet, use the concrete Pets → View Shop → Dog → 1,000 Diamonds purchase route above. Earlier preview suggestions about probable spins or possible event gifts are not needed to complete that purchase.

Why there is no five-tier pet table here

The preview explicitly derives its five rarity tiers from other Roblox games. Those examples do not identify this game's pets. Its linked updates hub also identifies a different experience, aarush's fruit game, with different place and universe IDs. The usable lobby/Index sequence above comes from the pet article's explicit Search For The Needle discussion; the unrelated hub does not validate its acquisition claims.

PETS adds Gems and a timed class-luck boost

Try Hard Guides' September 12 list reports PETS: 200 Gems + 30 minutes of 2× Class Luck. This matters if you are saving for a class or planning rolls during the boost.

Next step: open the right-side Codes menu, enter PETS and press Redeem; check the response, Gem balance and boost timer. Follow the complete redemption steps, then compare classes and budget 40-Gem rolls. The boost is not 30 free rolls, and the report does not establish doubled odds for every class. Use the odds shown while your boost is active.

Basement adds a full puzzle escape; Alien Coins fund Chests

September 5: Chapter 2 badge appears

The Finished Chapter 2! badge was created September 5. Pro Game Guides' September 9 walkthrough documents Basement's key search, three levers, three puzzles and final trapdoor escape. For players who finished Farmhouse, this is the next complete chapter route.

Next step: collect the key, unlock the puzzle room with all three levers, solve the crystal, picture and paper-code puzzles, then use the key at the trapdoor. Follow the full Basement walkthrough with the picture reference; finishing the keypad alone is not the escape.

Earlier event reporting described a September 5–15 Chapter 2 promotion, including the schedule referenced by the September 10 preview site. That promotional end date does not establish that Basement closes September 15. The September 13 official place catalogue still lists it.

September 9: Alien Coin earning and spending documented

PGG's September 9 report describes Coin rewards from completed maps and spending at the lobby Alien Chest. It says 200 Coins covers two Chests. That is the report date, not an invented patch release date.

Next step: complete a map or try ALIEN, check your Coin balance, then approach the lobby Alien Chest and compare the displayed Coin price. Use the earning, opening and reward guide. Later code-specific reports list ALIEN as 200 Gems + 200 Alien Coins; the Codes page explains the differing reported units and amounts.

After Farmhouse, play Basement; no named Chapter 3 is established

The official place catalogue lists the root/lobby experience, Chapter 1 (FARMHOUSE) and Chapter 2 (BASEMENT). It does not list a Chapter 3 named Greenhouse or Alien Crash Site. Those conflicting community names do not supply a usable current entry route.

UPDATE 3 is an event title, not confirmation of Chapter 3. Its September 19 schedule has no description naming a new chapter. If you have escaped Basement, use the remaining badge objectives, improve a Farmhouse run, or follow the official next-event page for an actual content announcement.

This log uses dated records and reports instead of a numbered version ladder: community articles inconsistently label the alien content v1.1 and v1.3. Neither label is needed to follow the documented Basement or Coin route.

The original record is older than the current updates

The official game record gives August 23, 2026 as its creation date. This dates the experience record; it does not prove a public v1.0 release on that day. New players can start with the Farmhouse collection, sale, upgrade and needle-handoff route before moving to Basement.
